付加疑問文（〜ですよね？）
Tag Questions
付加疑問文は、文の最後に短い疑問形を付け加えて「〜ですよね？」と確認する表現です。日本語の「〜でしょ？」「〜よね？」にあたります。肯定文には否定のタグ、否定文には肯定のタグを付けるのがルールです。
肯定文 + 否定のタグ
肯定文の後ろに、否定の短い疑問形を付けます。be動詞の文なら「isn't it?」「aren't you?」、一般動詞の文なら「don't you?」「doesn't she?」のように、助動詞の否定形＋主語の代名詞をつけます。

タグのルール：①本文が肯定→タグは否定 ②動詞・助動詞を合わせる（be動詞→isn't/aren't、一般動詞→don't/doesn't/didn't）③主語を代名詞にする（She→she, Tom→he）
否定文 + 肯定のタグ
否定文の後ろには、肯定の短い疑問形を付けます。「〜ではないですよね？」→「〜ですか？」という確認になります。

助動詞のある文の付加疑問文
can, will, should, must, have（完了形）などの助動詞がある文では、タグにもその助動詞を使います。
S + 助動詞 + V ..., + 助動詞n't + S?

特殊な付加疑問文
命令文やLet's〜の文にも付加疑問を付けることができます。命令文には「will you?」、Let's〜には「shall we?」を使います。また「I am〜」の文は「aren't I?」がタグになります（amn't は存在しないため）。

「I am〜」のタグは「aren't I?」です。「amn't I?」は英語には存在しません。テストによく出るので覚えましょう！
付加疑問文への答え方
付加疑問文への答え方は普通の疑問文と同じです。事実に基づいて Yes/No で答えます。ただし、否定の付加疑問文に「はい」と答える場合、英語では Yes を使います（日本語と逆になることがあるので注意）。
You like dogs, don't you? — Yes, I do.
犬が好きですよね？ — はい、好きです。
She isn't a student, is she? — No, she isn't.
彼女は学生ではないですよね？ — はい、学生ではありません。
He can't swim, can he? — Yes, he can.
彼は泳げないですよね？ — いいえ、泳げますよ。
It's raining, isn't it? — Yes, it is.
雨が降っていますよね？ — はい、降っています。
日本語と英語で Yes/No が逆になることがあります。「彼は来なかったよね？」→ 実際に来なかった場合は「No, he didn't.」、実は来た場合は「Yes, he did.」。事実が肯定なら Yes、否定なら No です。
日本語との比較
- ●日本語の「〜よね？」「〜でしょ？」は文末に付けるだけですが、英語は本文と逆の肯定・否定でタグを作る必要があります。
- ●日本語では否定疑問（「行かないんでしょ？」→「うん、行かない」）で「うん」と答えますが、英語では「No, I won't.」と答えます。事実が否定なら常に No です。
- ●日本語にはない特殊ルールがあります：命令文→ will you?、Let's〜→ shall we?、I am〜→ aren't I?
- ●英語の付加疑問文は、発音の上がり下がりで意味が変わります。語尾を上げると「本当に確認したい」、下げると「同意を求めている」ニュアンスになります。
