Imperative Sentences
ఆజ్ఞార్థక వాక్యాలు ఆదేశాలు, అభ్యర్థనలు, సూచనలు ఇవ్వడానికి వాడతారు. కర్త (you) చెప్పనవసరం లేదు, క్రియతో మొదలవుతాయి. 'తలుపు తెరవు!' = 'Open the door!' ప్రతికూలం: 'Don't + V'. మర్యాద: 'Please + V'.

క్రియ మూల రూపంతో మొదలవుతుంది. కర్త (you) అర్థమవుతుంది కానీ చెప్పరు. ప్రతికూలం: Don't + V. మర్యాద: Please + V / V + please.

Let's = Let us. 'మనం కలిసి చేద్దాం' అనే అర్థం. 'Let's eat!' = 'తిందాం!'

- ●తెలుగులో ఆజ్ఞార్థకం: 'తెరవు', 'తినకు'. ఆంగ్లంలో: 'Open', 'Don't eat'. రెండింటిలోనూ కర్త లేదు.
- ●తెలుగులో ప్రతికూల ఆజ్ఞ: '-కు' లేదా '-కూడదు'. ఆంగ్లంలో 'Don't + V'.
