ట్యాగ్ ప్రశ్నలు అంటే వాక్యం చివర చేరే చిన్న ప్రశ్న. 'ఈ కేక్ రుచిగా ఉంది, కదా?' లో 'కదా?' అనేది ట్యాగ్ ప్రశ్న. ఆంగ్లంలో 'This cake is delicious, isn't it?' అని చెప్తారు. ట్యాగ్ ప్రశ్నలు నిర్ధారణ కోసం, అంగీకారం కోసం వాడతారు.
ట్యాగ్ ప్రశ్నల నియమం
ముఖ్య నియమం: ముఖ్య వాక్యం అవునంటే (affirmative) ట్యాగ్ కాదు (negative), ముఖ్య వాక్యం కాదంటే (negative) ట్యాగ్ అవును (affirmative). సహాయక క్రియను (is/are/do/does/can/will) ట్యాగ్లో వాడతారు.
అవును వాక్యం, + negative ట్యాగ్? / కాదు వాక్యం, + affirmative ట్యాగ్?

ట్యాగ్లో ఎప్పుడూ సర్వనామం (he/she/it/they) వాడతారు, పేరు కాదు. 'Tom is tall, isn't Tom?' కాదు, 'Tom is tall, isn't he?'
'I am' ట్యాగ్ మరియు ప్రత్యేక సందర్భాలు
'I am' తో ట్యాగ్ 'aren't I?' (am not I? యొక్క shortened form). 'Let's...' తో ట్యాగ్ 'shall we?'. ఆజ్ఞార్థక వాక్యం తో 'will you?'. ఇవి ప్రత్యేక నియమాలు.

'I am tall, amn't I?' తప్పు. 'aren't I?' సరైనది. ఇది ఆంగ్లంలో ఏకైక మినహాయింపు.
తెలుగు మరియు ఆంగ్లం తేడాలు
- ●తెలుగులో 'కదా?', 'అవునా?', 'కాదా?' అనే ఒకే పదంతో అన్ని ట్యాగ్ ప్రశ్నలు చేయవచ్చు. ఆంగ్లంలో ప్రతి వాక్యానికి వేరే ట్యాగ్ ఉంటుంది.
- ●తెలుగులో ట్యాగ్ ముఖ్య వాక్యం ప్రకారం మారదు. ఆంగ్లంలో అవును↔కాదు తిరగబడాలి.
- ●తెలుగులో 'నేను బాగున్నాను కదా?' అనేది సహజంగా ఉంటుంది. ఆంగ్లంలో 'I am fine, aren't I?' — 'aren't' ప్రత్యేక నియమం.
- ●ఆంగ్ల ట్యాగ్లో సహాయక క్రియ + సర్వనామం తప్పనిసరి. తెలుగులో 'కదా?' ఒక్కటే చాలు.

అవును వాక్యం తర్వాత కాదు ట్యాగ్ రావాలి. is → isn't.
You like tea, aren't you?
You like tea, don't you?
ముఖ్య క్రియ 'like' (సాధారణ క్రియ) కాబట్టి ట్యాగ్లో do/don't వాడాలి, is/aren't కాదు.
