Leolin ("the Service") is an AI-powered English conversation learning app designed for children ages 5-12. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information. The Service is designed with children's privacy as a top priority, in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

• Account information: Email address (via Google / Apple Sign-In)
• Device information: Device ID (anonymous identifier), OS type, app version
• Learning data: Lesson progress, study time, quiz results
• Voice data: Voice during conversation practice (used only for speech recognition processing; not stored)
• Usage data: Anonymized analytics about app usage

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information solely for the following purposes:

• Providing and improving the English learning service
• Optimizing content to match your child's learning level
• Recording and displaying learning progress
• Fixing bugs and improving app quality
• Sending important service notifications

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase Analytics (Google): Anonymous app usage analytics
• OpenAI API: AI conversation, speech recognition, and text-to-speech
• Neon (PostgreSQL): Secure storage of learning data
• Cloudflare: Service delivery and security

We do not sell or share personal information with any other third parties. We do not use information for advertising purposes.

5. Children's Privacy

We take extra care to protect children's privacy:

• No advertisements are displayed
• Children's personal information is never used for advertising
• We collect only the minimum necessary information
• Voice data is processed in real-time and discarded; it is not stored on our servers
• AI conversation content is retained only for learning improvement and is periodically deleted

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on servers with industry-standard security measures. All communications are protected with TLS/SSL encryption. We implement access controls and conduct regular security audits.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete your account at any time through the app's Settings > Delete Account option. When you delete your account, all associated personal data is permanently removed from our servers.

This policy may be updated as needed. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app.
