Prepositions
ធ្នាក់សព្ទ (Prepositions) ប្រើដើម្បីបង្ហាញទីកន្លែង ទិសដៅ និងពេលវេលា។ ពាក្យដូចជា in, on, at, under, next to ជាធ្នាក់សព្ទសំខាន់ៗ។ ក្នុងមេរៀននេះ អ្នកនឹងរៀនពីធ្នាក់សព្ទទីកន្លែង ពេលវេលា ទិសដៅ និងការប្រើក្នុងជីវិតប្រចាំថ្ងៃ។
In, On, At — ទីកន្លែង
"in" ប្រើសម្រាប់កន្លែងដែលមានកំណត់ (room, box, city)។ "on" ប្រើសម្រាប់ផ្ទៃ (table, wall, floor)។ "at" ប្រើសម្រាប់កន្លែងជាក់លាក់ (school, home, the bus stop)។
ប្រធាន + កិរិយាស័ព្ទ + in/on/at + នាម
The cat is in the box.
ឆ្មានៅក្នុងប្រអប់។
The book is on the table.
សៀវភៅនៅលើតុ។
Sophal is at school.
សុផល់នៅសាលារៀន។
The fish are in the pond.
ត្រីនៅក្នុងស្រះ។
There is a picture on the wall.

Under, Behind, In front of, Next to
ធ្នាក់សព្ទទាំងនេះបង្ហាញទីតាំងរបស់ប្រើច្បាស់។ under = ក្រោម, behind = ពីក្រោយ, in front of = នៅមុខ, next to = នៅជាប់។
នាម + is/are + under/behind/in front of/next to + នាម
The ball is under the chair.
បាល់នៅក្រោមកៅអី។
The dog is behind the house.
ឆ្កែនៅពីក្រោយផ្ទះ។
The bus stop is in front of the school.

Between, Among, Near, Far from
between = រវាង (២របស់), among = ក្នុងចំណោម (៣របស់ឡើង), near = ជិត, far from = ឆ្ងាយពី។
នាម + is/are + between/among/near/far from + នាម
The school is between the park and the hospital.
សាលារៀននៅរវាងសួនច្បារ និងមន្ទីរពេទ្យ។
She is among her friends.
នាងនៅក្នុងចំណោមមិត្តភក្តិនាង។
My house is near the river.
ផ្ទះខ្ញុំនៅជិតទន្លេ។
The airport is far from the city.
អាកាសយន្តហោះនៅឆ្ងាយពីទីក្រុង។
Battambang is far from Phnom Penh.

between = រតាង 2 អ្វី។ among = រតាង 3+ អ្វី។
In, On, At — ពេលវេលា
"at" ប្រើសម្រាប់ម៉ោងជាក់លាក់ (at 7 o'clock, at noon)។ "on" ប្រើសម្រាប់ថ្ងៃ (on Monday, on my birthday)។ "in" ប្រើសម្រាប់ខែ ឆ្នាំ រដូវវែងៗ (in March, in 2024, in the morning)។
at + ម៉ោង / on + ថ្ងៃ / in + ខែ/ឆ្នាំ/រដូវ
School starts at 8 o'clock.
សាលាចាប់ផ្តើមនៅម៉ោង ៨។
We have a test on Friday.
យើងមានប្រលងនៅថ្ងៃសុក្រ។

To, From, Into, Out of — ទិសដៅ
to = ទៅ, from = ពី, into = ចូលក្នុង, out of = ចេញពី។ ធ្នាក់សព្ទទាំងនេះបង្ហាញទិសដៅនៃចលនា។
ប្រធាន + កិរិយាស័ព្ទ + to/from/into/out of + នាម
I go to school every day.
ខ្ញុំទៅសាលារៀនរៀងរាល់ថ្ងៃ។

- ●ខ្មែរ: "នៅលើតុ" → អង់ក្លេស: "on the table"។ ខ្មែរ: "នៅក្នុងប្រអប់" → អង់ក្លេស: "in the box"។ ខ្មែរប្រើ "នៅ" សម្រាប់ទាំងពីរ ប៉ុន្តែអង់ក្លេសបែងចែក in/on/at។
- ●សម្រាប់ពេលវេលា: ខ្មែរប្រើ "នៅ" សម្រាប់ទាំងអស់ ប៉ុន្តែអង់ក្លេសបែងចែក: at (ម៉ោង) on (ថ្ងៃ) in (ខែ/ឆ្នាំ)។
- ●ខ្មែរប្រើ "ក្រោម" សម្រាប់ "under" អង់ក្លេស។ "ពីក្រោយ" = behind, "នៅមុខ" = in front of, "នៅជាប់" = next to។ ពាក្យទាំងនេះស្រដៀងនឹងខ្មែរ។
