It as Formal Subject
अंग्रेज़ी में 'It' का प्रयोग वास्तविक कर्ता (real subject) की जगह औपचारिक कर्ता (formal subject) के रूप में किया जाता है। 'It is important to study' (पढ़ना ज़रूरी है), 'It is raining' (बारिश हो रही है)। हिंदी में इसका कोई समकक्ष नहीं है — यह अंग्रेज़ी की विशेषता है।
It + be + विशेषण + to + क्रिया
Infinitive कर्ता को 'It' से बदलना — 'To study is important' → 'It is important to study'।
It is important to learn English.
अंग्रेज़ी सीखना ज़रूरी है।
